Helping Edmontonians Explore the City
For the last few years I've been a member of the Edmonton Wayfinding Society. Our mandate is to advocate for better navigation and accessabile pedestrian space in Edmonton; educate our community partners about best practices; empower other groups that also encourage a vibrant community; and experiment with different ways to create livable, accessible, functional, and inclusive public spaces.
Over the years, I've helped paint Jasper Avenue as part of Edmonton's Experience Jasper Ave event, created maps and information plaques for Nuit Blanche, installed an interactive exhibition at FAB Gallery, and supported many of our other initiatives. If you'd like to get involved or learn more, feel free to check out our website at EdmontonWayfindingSociety.com.
