Helping Students Navigate University Bureacracy
Finding and making sense of all the information you need can be a daunting task for both new and current students at the University of Alberta. We began this project by conducting user tests, identifying and cataloging the needs of users, examining existing systems, and storyboarding a user's experience of potential solutions. Using different IDEO methods of research and prototyping, we were able to explore a wide range of needs and distill them into our final deliverable.
To help students navigate their educational pathway, my group created an online resource called "Compass". It functions as a curated help centre for students, and helps students access and discover relevant information. Scroll down to read the full report, or click here.
